Carpathia is a large format 440 x 330mm publication designed to raise awareness and support for the conservation and restoration of an area of The Carpathian Mountains in Romania. The large photographic images highlight not only the beauty and wildlife of the region, but also the ecological and environmental damage the conservation project aims to repair and restore.

The outer cover was elegantly foiled in black.

The judges were impressed with the fine print quality and the reproduction of the photography on such a large scale.
